I am happy to introduce myself, Pastry Chef Tammy Maki, as the driving force behind Pastry Consulting by Tammy.  A proud member of White Bear First Nations in Saskatchewan.  Based out of Ontario and servicing all of Canada. We are the original farm to table .  


With over three decades of experience in a variety of settings that include 4 and 5 diamond restaurants, resorts and hotels, we are able to design your menu, train your existing team or step in while your current Pastry Chef is on holiday.

Our wish is to educate and promote Indigenous cuisine and ingredients, not just from Canada's First Nations peoples, but on a Global Indigenous scale.  We proudly utilize Callebaut and Cacao Barry chocolate in our recipes, and wherever possible, local and sustainable products.

  • Offering Pastry Chef "fill in" services.  If your Pastry Chef is going on holidays, or if you have a vacancy you need to fill for an amount of time.

Pastry Consulting by Tammy offers personalized services to any size of business in the food and hospitality industry.  From small cafes to high end dining, I am able to personalize your dessert menu offerings to suit you and your client base.  If you're looking for something that is "outside the box", I can make that happen. 

Locally sourced ingredients, Indigenous, farm to table, it's not just for entrees.  A meal starts with fresh baked bread, still warm from the oven, and a progressive menu may include a palette cleanser .  To complete your meals and leave your customers smiling, there's nothing like a phenomenal dessert, or a surprise petit four course.  Why not consider a small take away treat for that lasting impression?
